UTILITIES BENEFIT FROM SOLAR

Utility companies become one of the main beneficiary groups of land solar development. By accepting solar energy into their substations and ecosystems, they can ensure a consistent power supply to the community, while operating at a more efficient level as a company. Having worked with many utility companies over the years, we at Galaxy 2 Consulting understand the process of connecting with power grids.

As mentioned in the land development section, we practice a turnkey approach to building solar farms. A major part of that includes working with the local utility companies to determine if a particular property meets the necessary requirements of successful solar production. A workable proximity to a substation is paramount to its success. Then, we have to confirm that the substation can take the solar generated power. Galaxy 2 Consulting the necessary electrical engineering studies to confirm that the utility grid can accept additional electricity.  We then initiate a formal study process with the electric utility to determine how and where the connection to the substation will happen line.

With our utility-connecting experience, we can take the responsibility for all of the vital research of new solar developments upon ourselves, allowing utility companies to ultimately study our findings and decide on approval of the transmission grid system. And that makes everyone, especially the community, a winner.

We're always interested in partnering with utility companies to find ways to make beneficial solar projects happen and succeed. We especially love to hear from you, with a pre-existing interest!
