Galaxy 2 Consulting

Jon Davis, owner and president of Galaxy 2 Consulting, started his career in the field of  Geomatic Engineering & Land  Development. That detail-oriented position eventually included managing projects for Duke Energy and Progress Energy, where he became very well acquainted with all aspects concerning transmission lines, substations, and power facilities. After years of gaining valuable experience at this, a strong understanding of solar power and it's function and value as a clean energy alternative, inspired Jon to branch out and begin a career that focused on growing the awareness of the solar industry.

In 2008, Jon started Galaxy 2 Consulting and set about growing that company through alignments with key leaders in the industry and invaluable hands-on experience in the field. Today, he uses his significant experience as not only a consultant, but by continuing to be hands-on, which includes searching out prospective sites for new Photovoltaic Solar Facilities and negotiating contracts on those sites. From there, he and his team goes forward to develop those sites from beginning to end. 

To date, Galaxy 2 Consulting has executed contracts for 100+ sites for Photovoltaic Solar Facilities within the Carolinas, Virginia, Alabama and Texas, as well as throughout the southeastern United States.
